First Forward Coaching Privacy & Cookies Policy
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) tells you what to expect us to do with your personal information in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”). This Policy applies to visitors and users (individually, “you”) of our websites and any other online services.
The standard legal terms are below. In summary, I do not sell your data. I use basic, anonymised analytics to see how this website performs, which you can easily opt out of. In my coaching practice, I make “Process Notes” of our conversation in order to support ongoing sessions with you. I never record calls without your explicit permission. I only keep the basic administrative and financial records legally required to run my business. Outside of coaching sessions, I do not use your data to market or “sell” my services to you, I may only collect your contact information with your express permission to provide general or tailored communications to you such as newsletters.
I am committed to safeguarding your privacy. If information is requested that can identify you (“personal data”), you can be assured it will be handled in accordance with this Policy.

Website Data, Analytics, and Cookies
First Forward Coaching is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to promote our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. The legitimate interests are: To maintain professional standards, comply with my professional indemnity insurance, and adhere to the ethical and safeguarding frameworks of the Association for Coaching (AC), I write brief “process notes” after our session concludes. These are high-level, administrative records (e.g., date, duration, broad themes discussed, and confirmation that no safeguarding risks were present).

Financial Records: By UK tax law, I am required to retain financial data, invoices, and accounting records for a minimum of 7 years.

Process Notes: Your brief post-session process notes are kept securely and confidentially for the duration required for legal and insurance purposes, after which they are safely and permanently destroyed.

Who is your information shared with
I do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. I only share your data in the following highly restricted circumstances:

Legal or Safeguarding Obligations: As mandated by the Association of Coaching ethical guidelines, the only time your confidentiality would be breached is if there is a legal requirement to do so, or if I have reasonable cause to believe that you or someone else is at immediate risk of serious harm.
When your information may be shared outside the UK
Where necessary, personal information may be transferred outside of the UK. For example, First Forward Coaching is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix is a global company that respects the laws of the jurisdictions it operates within. The processing of the User Customer Data may take place within the territory of the European Union, Israel or a third country, territory. Such transfer complies with UK data protection law through an Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
